The French Car Show 2009 was the best the club has seen to date. Fine weather (if a little dusty). A total of 18 v6s this year and each one looking their best. The club lead the way in fitting style for a memorial lap in honour of our sadly departed club member Dan Bayes.

BBQ time at Kimbolton! The big man and his army of feeders did us all proud. Stuffed to the brim, a most colourful array of v6s to view, and the occasional cosy moments with us all sheltering from the persistant drizzle. Undeterred by a few spots of rain, the polishers battled on bravely.

World Series by Renault. Held once again at Silverstone, this weekend is now established as the largest motor sport event in the country. Some 130,000 people vistited over the weekend, and most of them seem to come and look at the cars in the collectors area judging by the crowds passing through. We had 25 Clio v6s registered amongst the classic and Renault sport models permitted in the area and, as usual, the vees seem to attract a lot of interest. It's a great show for folks who don't normally attend car shows and many will have seen a Clio v6 for the first time.
