Club Events 2011

French Car Show 2011 Very much a line up day at Rockingham this year. Our club stand saw an impressive line of Vees in a vast range of colours. Spectators were treated upon arrival with the welcoming sight of some of the clubs most tastefully modified cars. The highlight of the day was another special line up, we all did a few parade laps of the Rockingham circuit which was kindly lead by Jeremy Townsend from Renault UK.

 

Kimbolton Charity Car Show 2011 Once again Kimbolton Show was a huge success for our club. A spacious display area was packed with the finest Vees plus the added bonus of Yorky’s Renault 5 Turbo, a splendid sight indeed for all to enjoy.

Kimbolton wouldn’t be the same without our scrumptious BBQ. Steve and Michelle’s kindness and hard graft made for an excellent day. Everyone said how very much they are looking forward to Kimbo 2012.

 

The club had a number of local meetings covering the country north and south. We attended Cliosport’s Club day at Gaydon, had a madly enthusiastic drive around the Lake District, a fantastic day was had at the South East Gathering and to finish off a busy year we met up for a relaxed and enjoyable lunch at Hever in Kent.
